What’s up with Pixar? Somehow, they are able to produce the best animated films year after year. Ratatouille is no exception. Seriously, go see this movie as soon as you can.

Pixar’s animation was as impeccable as ever. The fur on the rats, whether wet, dry, dirty or clean looked perfectly both in repose and in motion. The rats’ scampering was so dead on, you’d swear they had simply transposed rats that they had filmed.

As for the story… Brad Bird can write and direct every Pixar movie from now on, as far as I’m concerned. This was one of Pixar’s best, right up there with Toy Story 2 and The Incredibles. I can’t wait to see the next movie that he does in collaboration with the studio.

i was tempted to go see this. I watched “Cars” and it was extremely enjoyable, great graphics too. I’m just bewildered, didn’t they say they spent years making Cars? Then not long after, ratatouille comes out… so they were working on 2 projects at the same time??
disney’s best move was probably buying pixar. without it they’d never stay afloat!
