I found several songs tonight that Apple has used in the past as part of their marketing schemes. They are, of course, so wonderful that I had to share them with you.
The first song, “Ripples,” is absurdly self-important. To make it worse, it’s also incredibly earnest. “For you can never tell the dancer from the dance and you can never part the singer from the song.” At some point, Apple users stopped being irritating, smug hippies and became the irritating, smug yuppies that they are today.
Ripples
This song struck a chord with me. My first computer back in 1984 was the Apple II C. Needless to say, it was a glorious blend of sixteen colors and totally sweet music (it was probably capable of like six different tones).
Apple II Forever
Do you need a dance anthem for your next lightswitch rave? Look no further.

lol awesome. I’m currently enjoying the “apple 2 forever” one, I’d swear she just said “nipple too” instead of “apple 2″… I’m going to blame that on jet lag (or the staying up late several nights to beat halo 2 in 4 days). Slick embedded player btw, where did you run across that?
